Aivar Ilves has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Tartu University and is currently working as an IT consultant. He has over 24 years of experience in the field of IT in the state institutions, as well as in private companies ((e.g. the Parliament office, a daily newspaper Eesti Päevaleht, the Defence Forces, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Rural Affairs, etc).
He started as IT specialist, later became an IT manager, IT counselor and information security expert. He has been part of the teams working on state IT projects such as e-elections, education IT systems etc, He has lectured at the e-Governance Academy and conducted training, incl in the field of cybersecurity.
He has been a member of the Public Information Council by the Data Protection Inspectorate which focuses on GDPR implementation. He has been the chief editor of a manual on IT contracts and complied with numerous instructions for different organizations.

Tiia Sõmer has obtained a Master’s degree in the field of cybersecurity at the Tallinn University of Technology and at present she is a junior fellow and doctoral student in the field of cyber crime at the same University.
For 20 years she has worked with the Estonian Defence Forces and conducted training in different companies and organizations, e.g. Samsung Digital Academy, Tallinn University, the Police and Border Guard Board, the Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association etc.
She has compiled digital learning aids and a cyber defense program for secondary schools and is herself a practicing teacher of the subject at school.

Anneli Külaots has worked as a DPO at Elekrilevi (power distribution grid) and has also been involved in personal data protection issues in a public body (the Emergency Response Centre). She has extensive experience in conducting training on EU issues. In 2005-2017 she was a guest lecturer for EU law and international economic law at the Tallinn University of Technology (now TalTech).
She has a degree in law and extensive knowledge of data protection regulation, incl practical implementation of GDPR, incl training sessions to the staff of a processor.
